Fishing Boats at Marmara Sea

Onboard the ferry ship to the Princes' Islands of Istanbul, we met these boats fishing at Marmara Sea off Princes' Islands. The fishermen were setting their nets and a cloud of sea gulls were diving to hunt and steal fish.

Tughra: The Sultan's Seal

A tughra is a calligraphic seal or signature of an Ottoman sultan that was affixed to all official documents and correspondence. It was also carved on his seal and stamped on the coins minted during his reign.
